As well as space\canvas\size management is just ridiculous. Only to discover that it have captured out of bounds into the cropped image too. For example i have tried to choose part of the image I wanted to be cropped and of course I went out of bounds like I do in Windows image tools. I have searched for a solution and none have worked.Īnd basic "Drawing" application that was in package with Mint. It never runs properly and crashes instantly. It wasn't exactly what Paint.NET but seemed to be but very close to it. But most of the time I could not even find the function or instrument I was searching for.Ī little later I have discovered Pinta. What took me 2-5 minutes in Paint.NET in GIMP can took me around 10-15 minutes instead and if I succeeded. It is too complex and not intuitive - I simply cannot work in GIMP whatever is said of its advantages. GIMP for some techniques and tasks is an excellent program, but it is not basic. More than that the only analog to be found at first was GIMP. Only later I have discovered that Paint.NET do not even have Wine support. I was forced to move to Linux due to complications with Windows. Those were flawless and unique software with much intuitive design and functions. I used to be on Windows, that had Photoshop and later Paint.NET instead. Yeah-yeah, I know that there are some analogs, but that didn't worked to me.
